For buttons I have used images, you can get the images from below.

For this android google maps tutorial app we will create some buttons at the bottom of the map.

Now run your application and you will that the app Start Google Maps (See the screenshot of my output).

(From where you copied the link to create the api).

Now copy the API Key to your String inside google_maps_api.xml file.

Now click on Create and you will get Your API Key.

Copy this and paste it to your browser (Make sure you are logged in your google account).
